Have you ever gone out for a jog and experienced intense pain in your feet afterward? If so, you might have Achilles tendinitis, a condition best described by intense pain in the Achilles tendon. Where is the Achilles tendon? Essentially, it runs from the back of your knee right to the back of your heel. This pain can be acute, occurring only after periods of high activity due to micro-tears in the tendon itself, or from a chronic disorder.
